Charles P. Fairchild, Esq.Charles P. Fairchild, Esq. practices in the areas of estate planning, trust law, probate, tax, and business planning. In addition to his planning experience, he also has extensive litigation experience, having represented trustees, executors, beneficiaries, employers, employees, and businesses in trust, estate, employment, and business disputes. He received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where he was Lead Articles Editor of the Southwestern Law Review, recipient of the Dean's Merit Award, member of the Dean's List, recipient of six awards for the highest grade in a course, and a national finalist in the ABA Section of Taxation's Law Student Tax Challenge. Charles also worked full-time during law school, as Regional Liaison at the American Arbitration Association and as an extern to the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson of U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Charles has prior professional experience as a registered securities representative at a multinational financial services corporation. Charles is involved in various legal and civic organizations, including the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Trusts and Estates Section and Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee), Guild Opera Company (Board Member and Past President), and Southwestern Law School (frequent guest lecturer on professional responsibility).
